_____________________________________________________WASHINGTON- President Barack Obama,will hold a Cabinet Meeting at the White House; on Monday, October 3, 2011.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 President Obama will travel to Mesquite, Texas, to deliver remarks urging Congress to pass the American Jobs Act to keep teachers in the classroom, to rebuild American public schools across the nation, and to put more money in the pockets of working Americans. President Obama will make his remarks at the Eastfield College. President Obama continues to argue that his proposal will not add a dime to the deficit. Later in the day, President Obama will travel to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend campaign events.
President Obama will host President Porfirio Lobo of Honduras at the White House Oval Office, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. During the White House Oval Office meeting President Obama will discuss regional economics and security issues. The White House said, President Obama will "underscore President Lobo’s efforts to restore democratic and constitutional order in Honduras." Earlier this year, Honduras returned to the Organization of American States.
On Thursday, October 6, 2011 the White House honor the Texas A&M women's basketball team. President Obama will honor the team for their 2011 NCAA National Championship. President Obama will welcome the Texas A&M women’s basketball team to the White House for a ceremony honoring their work.
On Friday October 7, 2011, the 1985 Super Bowl Champions,the Chicago Bears will be honored at the White House.by President Obama. Later in the afternoon, President Obama will host Prime Minister Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia at the White House. During the meeting with the Prime Minister Essebsi, President Obama will discuss America’s strong support for Tunisia’s historic transition to democracy. President Obama also plans to highlight the strong bonds of friendship between the Tunisian people and American people.._________________________________
