In the morning, President Barack Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the White House Oval Office.

Later in the morning, President Obama will make remarks on his vision for reducing the deficit of the United States of America, so the nation-state might begin living within its means by way of a balanced approach. Today's recommendations from President Obama will go to the Congressional Joint Committee on Deficit Reduction for its consideration.  President Obama’s remarks will take place in the White House Rose Garden in Washington, DC.

In the afternoon, President Obama and the U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to New York City, New York for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Later in the day, President Obama and Mrs. Obama will attend a United States Mission to the United Nations (USUN) Meet and Greet.
