The working poor are again being ignored and asked for more sacrifice. The sub-prime mortgages benefited the top ten percent of the American economy. And the U.S. Congress continues to protect its fat-cats such as the
Where are the very needed revenue increases? What happened to the very needed tax increases? Where is the threat of a veto on irresponsible governance? Why not use this moment to increase revenues, to pay for increasing the debt limit. Avoiding the global impacts of a U.S. default may be a necessary evil, but allowing the rich to prey on the poverty stricken middle-class is nuts. It is obvious that the U.S. has to create revenue.

The changes in median self-worth is not improving for everyone. that are coming no matter what?

Make no mistake this is our last opportunity to do something about the U.S. debt problem, and not default eventually. President Obama has ta pure-heated strategy, but he must stand against the tea party extremism and defend his poverty stricken base. Now is the time to use the veto pin to raise very needed revenue.

It is a bid late for a public awareness campaign about the USA debt and deficit issues. Why was the public and the press shut out of the talks along the why? Now Congress and the White House want the help of the public and the press in getting a deal done. Please Please Please. President Obama still holds the power to save the US economy, not a rating agency. Senator Boehner's call for a balanced budget makes sense. President Obama's call for more revenue and a balances budget makes sense. A Washington created economic crisis does not make sense.
