President Barack Obama holds a press conference to address action Congress can take to create new jobs and cut the deficit.

WASHINGTON- It was a pleasant day on Capitol Hill as the GOP held its press conference to argue against the intentions of U.S. President Barack Obama. Republicans want to sustain tax rates of the very wealthy and eliminate waste. But the GOP has no plans to vote against increasing the debt limit.

     Meanwhile, President Barack Obama was in the White House East Room answering his critics. President Obama wants end tax breaks that wealthy people and corporations enjoy.

President Obama said, “There is no reason why we can’t settle the debt issue, now.”   The “debt ceiling issue is urgent and needs to be settled.”

The U.S. debt limit issue will affect every strata of society.  Motivated by the political need to control the message, President Obama spoke to his actual base and his opinion elite / key donors.  

Congressional Democrats and Republicans can’t continue to rule out tax hikes for the very rich or middle income persons. The federal government needs cash from employed American people. The Federal Reserve Bank has sustained a structural failure that must be corrected with authentic wealth, not printed dollars. U.S. job creation is key in the recovery process.  

 
     President Obama is trying to control messages being delivered to his actual political base and his opinion elites (Donors). An event observing LGBT Pride month was scheduled to take at the White House East Room later in the day. So he is sustaining his message to that sector of his opinion elite. President Obama needed to present his intentions to his actual base, before all hell breaks loose in the American economy. The President recently receive campaign money from LGBT community while attending fundraisers in New York.

      To save $500 million Joe Lieberman wants to raise Medicare premiums & raise the age limit for Medicare. The suggested changes would more directly change the Medicare savings plan. Democrats & the GOP are at an impasse in budget negotiation and deficit issue.

     Additionally, President Obama believes August 2, 2011 is a critical deadline for the United States of America. Americans are suffering. Medicare savings plan is bleeding cash. The American housing market outside of the Washington, DC region is bleeding equity. Families are being pushed out of homes. Peop People are getting water in bottles at gas stations. So what is the solution?

Fiscal responsibility. Fiscal responsibility at the federal administrative level.  Fiscal responsibility at the Congressional level.  Fiscal responsibility at the state level. Financial responsibility at the individual level. Americans have been forced to end borrowing. Now it is the federal governments turn to end increasing the debt limits.

     Another element entering into the dynamic of budget negotiations is the lack of continuity on Capitol Hill. Both houses of Congress have not been in session at the same time in recent months. To make matters worse, some Republicans indicated that the urgency about defaulting on August 2, 2011 is not real. So, today President Obama dispelled these arguments. The ability to pay what the U.S. owes cannot be ignored any longer.

Republicans and Democrats are locked in showdown, as the economy slows its recovery.

     But let us face it; President Obama and the Obama administration are evolving politically.
