WASHINGTON - FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate, briefed President
Obama on plans to help people during the 2011 hurricane season. The
briefing took place in the White House Situation Room.
President Barack Obama had just returned from greeting
residents and volunteers in Joplin, Missouri when a series of
tornadoes tore across the New England region of the United States of
America. Storms have ravaged Alabama, Massachusetts and Mississippi.
So what is going on, environmentally that is?
Environmental specialist have not yet determined scientific
correlations to explain what's going on. The unusual weather condition
have destroyed complete neighborhoods.
In order to minimize the loss of lives the United States of
America has mobilized warning systems, but there is a need to better
understand free flowing air. Where does it come from and why does it
operate the way it does, given particular environmental factors?
When we heard about the tornado in Springfield, Massachusetts
near Camp Atwater, it was shocking. My sisters and I went to Camp
Atwater. Two weeks at the Camp went fast. Even then the region had
unusual environmental events. It would occasionally snow in July or
August, while the sun was brightly shining and the temperature was
hot.
This week deadly twisters tore through 18 communities. One
thousand national guard troops had to be activated. Hundreds of
organizations and individuals have been harmed.
My emotionally connection with the Springfield Massachusetts
region began at a time when Martin Luther King participated in the
National March On Washington. My sisters and I arrived home from Camp
by way of train on the day millions of people marched to the Lincoln
Memorial in the District of Columbia. My Dad had a white cap on his
head when he picked us up. I remember thinking he had joined some kind
of Army.
What has happened in Springfield Massachusetts and many other
small American towns is significant. Historic venues have been
destroyed. Vital human development programs have been harmed. Human
lives have been lost. The cost of restoring what has been loss is
significant. To make matters worst, the economic standing of America
looks bad right now.
Non-governmental organizations will likely be a place to
focus financial support as people move to restore what has been loss
during the tornado and hurricane seasons in the United States of
America.
Camp Atwater is located on the beautiful waterfront of Lake
Lashaway, in North Brookfield Massachusetts. Its activities and
classes are used to launched leaders throughout the world. The
location of the Camp is ideal for accomplishing its mission. It is
beach front property is located directly across from a small island.
The days were warm and the nights cool. The food was fantastic and
healthy. You could view the stars at night and take an afternoon hike
while passing groves of apple trees. The smell of pine trees was
everywhere, except near the overflowing sewage area the last year we
attended the camp.
Our camp counselors were teachers, college students or
graduate students. My camp counselor dad and camp counselor mom were
keen about each other, but as I recall most excited about our
successes. One was from California and the other was from the District
of Columbia. They were both smart, attractive, fun loving and caring.
I still try to emulate their persona as I recall it.
Many years have come and gone but I can still recall the
disappointment on the face of my camp dad just as I began to swim,
after he had jumped in the water to save me with his street clothes
on. He was so out done about my actions that he lovingly squeezed the
water out of his cloths over my head.

If you are dissatisfied with a pH Perfect product, you may request a product Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and return the unused portion of the product, in its original container, to ZamZuu within seven (7) days from the date of purchase, for either a product replacement or full refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges will not be refunded, and you are responsible for return shipping except in the case of a shipping error as explained below. All authorized returns shall be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
To receive an RMA, contact ZamZuu Support at (618) 655-9477 Ext. #4 for further instructions or email us at pHperfect@ZamZuu.com. Once an RMA has been issued, the product must arrive at ZamZuu within 30 days with the RMA number listed on the label. Items received outside of stated timeframe or in unacceptable condition will not be credited and will be returned to customer at their own expense. Refunds will be processed for approved RMAs only after receipt of the returned merchandise by ZamZuu. ZamZuu will credit your account within 7 days of the receipt of the returned merchandise.
