WASHINGTON, DC- "The Violence Must Stop; Muammar Qaddafi has lost the legitimacy to lead and he must leave," President Barack Obama said.
President Obama continues to lead international efforts supporting the aspirations of the Libyan people. But there is an urgent need to stop the violence, actively, happening against the Libyan people by the Qaddafi government. Individuals empowered by the regime have intentionally killed thousands. Individuals have reported and documented the violence and deaths of family members.
Meanwhile the United Nations and the United States of America watches north Africa, as the Qaddafi regime deploys violence and bombs toward its citizens. International outraged, sanctions and the freezing of assets have not stopped the violence. It is being reported that over 2,000 people have been killed for participating in opposition rallies against the Qaddafi government. Other people have been shot on the street or taken from their families and killed.
One man described the arrest and death of his brother, whom was found dead in a morgue, after being detained by Qaddafi loyalist. The man was detained for talking to the international press. The body displayed a crushed skull and broken bones. The fatal blows had not been seen by the victim. The back of the skull had been crushed.
The United States method of deterring the violence is diplomacy. But the assessment coming from administration officials revealed a belief that Col. Qaddafi was not rational mentally. However, the United Nations plans to holding the Qaddafi regime accountable for ordering and financing the violence.
The United States is responding, quickly, to provide humanitarian needs.

"PROTECTING THE ECONOMIC FUTURE"

WASHINGTON, DC- Looking noticeably hard-pressed, Director of the National Economic Council Gene B. Sperling and Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer held a pen and pad briefing in the Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House to discuss President Barack Obama’s willingness to find common ground with Republicans on the budget.
Director Sperling expressed concern that deep cuts in spending by the U.S. Government could erode economic confidence. But cuts in entitlements that have not been supported financially are a necessity. Cuts are not necessarily anti-simulative. Extreme debt that has to be repaid is, however anti-simulative.
The economic and financial challenges facing the United States of America are a set-up that will lead to greatness, if the shortfall is resisted with revenue development and human productivity. Increasing economic confidence, while coming into agreement with Congressional Republicans is possible.
How the Obama administration plans to achieve those objectives is either not clear to the Director Sperling or reluctantly being proposed to Republicans by the Obama administration.
The administration and the U.S. Congress have two weeks to establish an agreement, or provisionally shut down. Do you wonder how much money might be saved if the U.S. Government shuts down for a short period of time? Who really knows? It is doubtful that anyone really has a clear handle on the figure. In relation to financial matters, economic theory has been guiding American for decades.
Remember the old strategy that it is better to use other-peoples money to become wealth and not your own. Did that theory have any connection with reality in the end, when the other-people want the money returned?
One thing is clear the U.S. Congressional representatives and the Obama administration are being observed by the world to see if the United States of America has the guts to stop over-spending and under producing what it needs or wants to spend.
A few issues are clear, military defense spending by the United States of America is likely to increase due to complexities abroad. The U.S. is being dragged into the violence in Libya. It is on the ground fighting in Afghanistan. North Korea is threatening violence. Iran is defiantly working to attain nuclear authority.
Providence has given the United States of America the ability to get wealth, to establish greatness on earth. So the United States of America does not have to continue down a path of developing budgets based on money that it does not have. The U.S. has the means to subsidize it own budget.
The U.S. needs to stop the intellectual property theft by China, and get paid for the commodities it produces, innovates and builds. The U.S. could limit the subsidizing of the questionable regimes, especially those producing illegal drugs being imported into the U.S.. The U.S. could normalize relationships geographic neighbors such as Cuba, and thereby increase exports abroad. Also the United States could augment its revenue by quickly moving toward electrically operating vehicles. Moreover, revenue might be develop by improving the productivity and competencies of American citizens to generate revenue.
President Barack Obama’s willingness to find common ground with Republicans on the budget is an honorable goal. Let your voice be heard.
