Ambassador Suleiman Aujali has not resigned as the Libyan Ambassador to U.S., but  he called for the ruler of Libya to go and "leave our people alone." Ambassador Aujali begged the world to take action in Libya, by calling for a new regime in Libya. Libyan People, reportedly, have been cut in half by artillery and other means. Dead bodies are littering Tripoli. Tripoli now is under gun fire. The eastern part is under control of the people, but Tripoli is burning.
"Please, please help the Libyan people. Help them, they are burning." Ambassador Suleiman said. "We need the world to stand up by us."
The U.N. Security Council has met to discuss the Libyan issue. The Arab League also. But Ambassador Suleiman Aujali said, "I need the United States to raise their voices very strongly. There's no division in Libya. All Libyans are united."
The Libyans want freedom, democracy and municipality that is it. Not an Islamic state. Forces in the military and others in the government have moved against Qaddafi . Foreign government nationals are evacuating as tensions mount. Eyewitness account of chaos in Libya state Egyptians working in Libya are trying to make it home to escape the violence after losing electrical power, being shot at and almost getting killed along the way to Egypt.
The savage massacre by the regime of its citizens was expected. Qaddafi paid and brought in many many foreign soldiers or mercenaries to kill protesters of his regimes from African states, South Asian states and some European looking mercenaries. They used heavy gauge weapons and helicopters and aircraft." to killed people. "People are being killed by large caliber bullets, heavy machine guns, anti-aircraft artillery at people." Yes, "anti-aircraft artillery at the people, at unarmed demonstrators."
People have been killed at home and in the streets as though they were rats.
The regimes savage goals to massacre hundreds of people in their homes and in the streets was expressed by Qaddafi's highly educated / PH.D. son.
What began as an ongoing series of peaceful protests and confrontations occurring in the North African state of Libya against its head of state Gaddafi and the government of Libya has transformed into ongoing massacres and genocide.

Qaddafi: ‘I will not give up’, ‘we will chase the cockroaches’

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry called for the ouster of Libyan leader Col. Qaddafi amid an uprising in which armed supporters have fired on crowds of protesters.

Today the Massachusetts Democrat said the U.S. and other oil companies should “immediately cease operations in Libya until violence against civilians ceases,” and that the United Nations Security Council should condemn violence directed at the protesters and remove Libya from the Human Rights Commission.

“The Qaddafi government’s use of deadly force against its own people should mean the end of the regime itself,”  Senator Kerry went on to say that  the Gaddafi government is "beyond despicable, and I hope we are witnessing its last hours in power.”

“While Qaddafi himself is irredeemable, his senior military commanders need to know that their acquiescence in atrocities could open them to future international war crimes charges,” Mr. Kerry said.

BACKGROUNDINTRODUCTION:

"The Italians supplanted the Ottoman Turks in the area around Tripoli, Libya in 1911. The Italians did not relinquish their hold until 1943 when defeated in World War II. Libya then passed to United Nations administration and achieved independence in 1951. Following a 1969 military coup, Col. Muammar Abu Minyar al-Qaddafi began to espouse his own political system, the Third Universal Theory. But Muʿammar al-Qaḏḏafi has always seen himself as the revolutionary and visionary leader of a, Third Universal Theory, political system administrated somewhat indirectly by the United Nations.

The "Third Universal Theory" (Third Universal political system) is a combination of socialism and Islamism derived, in part, from eastern practices" and is supposed to be implemented by the Libyan people themselves in a unique form of direct democracy."

During the 1970s and 1980s Qaddafi used oil funds to promote his Third Universal Theory ideology outside Libya. Qaddafi supporting subversives and terrorists abroad to hasten the end of Marxism and capitalism. In addition, beginning in 1973, he engaged in military operations in northern Chad's Aozou Strip - to gain access to minerals and to use as a base of influence in Chadian politics - but was forced to retreat in 1987. UN sanctions in 1992 isolated Qaddafi politically following the downing of Pan AM Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. During the 1990s, Qaddafi began to rebuild his relationships with Europe. United Nations sanctions were suspended in April 1999 and finally lifted in September 2003 after Libya accepted responsibility for the Lockerbie bombing. In December 2003, Libya announced that it had agreed to reveal and end its programs to develop weapons of mass destruction and to renounce terrorism. Qaddafi has made significant strides in normalizing relations with Western nations since then. He has received various Western European leaders as well as many working-level and commercial delegations, and made his first trip to Western Europe in 15 years when he traveled to Brussels in April 2004. The United States rescinded Libya's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism in June 2006. In January 2008, Libya assumed a nonpermanent seat on the United Nations Security Council for the 2008-2009 term. In August 2008, the United States and Libya signed a bilateral comprehensive claims settlement agreement to compensate claimants in both countries who allege injury or death at the hands of the other country, including the Lockerbie bombing, the LaBelle disco bombing, and the UTA 772 bombing. In October 2008, the Unit5ed States Government received $1.5 billion pursuant to the agreement to distribute to United States national claimants, and as a result effectively normalized its bilateral relationship with Libya. The two countries then exchanged ambassadors for the first time since 1973 in January 2009. Libya in May 2010 was elected to its first three-year seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council, prompting protests from international non-governmental organizations and human rights campaigners.
