"SALUTE TO U.S. VETERANS "
_____________________________________________________________________
Good morning,
Each fall, Americans take time to honor the brave men and women in uniform who put themselves in harm’s way to protect our nation and the ideals on which it was founded.
Today, I met with service members in Yongsan Garrison in South Korea, and I told them that honoring their service isn’t just about the memorial services we attend on Veterans Day or Memorial Day -- it’s about how we treat our Veterans every day of the year.
Our men and women in uniform and their families have sacrificed so much, and all Americans owe them a debt of gratitude for their service. It is our moral obligation to care for our service members, Veterans and military families as they have cared for us.
- As Commander in Chief, this is a commitment I take very seriously. That’s why my Administration is building a 21st-century Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to ensure that our Veterans have every opportunity to live happy, productive and healthy lives once they step out of uniform:
- Through the Post-9/11 GI Bill, we are helping nearly 400,000 Veterans and family members pursue higher education.
- We have dramatically increased funding for Veterans health care across the board and are directing unprecedented resources to treat the wounds of today’s wars -- traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder.
- The VA is working to streamline the claims process by creating a single electronic record that our troops and Veterans can keep for life and hiring thousands of claims processors to finally break the back of the backlog of claims.
Today, there are 18 percent fewer homeless Veterans on our streets than there were when I took office, and we won’t rest until all our Veterans have a place to call home.
I encourage all Americans to take time to thank the Veterans, service members and military families in your lives and recognize their extraordinary service to our country.
To all of our men and women in uniform, our Veterans and our military families: We honor your service, we are grateful for your sacrifice, and we will not let you down.
Sincerely,
President Barack Obama

WASHINGTON, DC- She drove to the community center without any concern about access to electricity and water that might be extremely harmful to her heath. It was a beautiful day. Trees were releasing beautiful leaves and clothes were drying on a line in the back yard as a very slight breeze flowed around them.
It was Veterans day. A parade in New York City had reminded her of her dads service during the second world war and the service of so many others who did not return from the warfare of their times.
We citizens and visitor of the United States of America have much to be grateful for, in a world that can sometimes be more focused on death and power struggles than life and living well and healthy.
Thanks to our veterans we can continue to live life more abundantly. Hug the next veteran you see and thank them for their service.THANK YOU!

WASHINGTON, DC- The indispensable partnership being enjoyed by the leaders of India and the United States of America should not be under-estimated. The fellowship is genuine. The potential for mutual economic growth of both countries is very promising. And the benefit for poor people, globally, is profound.
The Republic of India is a democracy in South Asia. India is the second greatest populated country in the world, with the seventh largest geographic region. The potential global benefit of India's partnership with the United States of America is substantial. It may serve to shift the entire world into an, unforseen, age of economic wealth that is not based on warfare. The indispensable partnership was forged in pain. Since the aftermath of the Mumbai terrorist attacks, the U.S. and India have cultivated its counter-terrorism collaboration efforts. The collaboration culminated in July 2010, when India and the United States of America signed the Counter-terrorism Cooperation Initiative. The Obama administration and the administration of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh have continued, to cultivate the much needed relationship, based on a shared vision of the future.
According to the Obama administration, the shared vision includes economic growth, educational growth and environmentally sound technical development. The U.S. - India relationship has already served to impact matters involved in the Development of Afghanistan, the a CEO Forum, Cybersecurity, Clean Energy and Climate Change, Civil Space Cooperation, Counterterrorism Cooperation, Deepening U.S.-India Strategic Ties, Defense Cooperation, Education, Entrepreneurs Roundtable, Export Controls, Indian Investment in the U.S., Nuclear Security, Partnership for an Evergreen Revolution, The National Export Initiative, U.S.-India Economic and Financial Partnership, and Securing the Air, Sea, and Space Domains.
Fortunately, Prime Minister Singh and President Obama continue to cultivate a U.S.-India relationship that is based on jobs and the global economy.

"THE FEDERAL RESERVE'S "Hail Mary Pass"
WRITTEN AND POSTED BY KAREN ANN CARR
_____________________________________________________________________
WASHINGTON, DC- The Federal Reserve plans to spend $75 Billion dollars per month buying U.S. Government debt for the next eight months. The Wall Street Journal sees the FED's decision as a "Hall Mary pass" to further stimulate the U.S. economy. The total commitment to purchase U.S. Government bonds will be $800 billion dollars over the next eight month period.
The latest simulative move by The Federal Reserve may amount to putting a bandage on a gun wound. The U.S. financial system is still bleeding value, despite the infusion of cash and policy changes. Nothing has been done to adequately heal the real estate markets in the United States of America and abroad.Cash U.S. dollars are King, even in its weakened state. The weaknesses of the 10 year notes and the limitation of the Federal Reserves mortgage bonds may up-end what Chairman Ben Bernanke and the FED hope to accomplish, but the Fed has to do what the Fed must do.
Another load of real estate that has dwindled in value will possibly hit the market this year, and when stack does no one really knows what is going to happen. In some cases, one piece of property has multiple mortgages attached to its value. And to make matters worse, some property values have fallen below outstanding liens.
It is very telling to hear that the Federal Reserve Bank is considering acting in this manner, with property values and the value of the U.S. dollar being as they are. The American markets have not responded enthusiastically to former efforts by the Federal Reserve, in part because of the pre-existing conditions of real property and the dreadful debts attached to real property. The Federal Reserve might be hoping that small businesses play a significant role in growing the economy. However it is much more likely that those earning $250,000.00 or more will be needed to purchase mortgage bonds in the FED's portfolio as they are being retired. Time will tell. These proposed moves and future moves by the Federal Reserve Bank will likely force the Republicans to work with President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party to reduce the deficit. In the case of monetary stability and economic growth all political leaders have an invested interest in sustaining wealth in order to receive campaign donation. But if the U.S. markets continue to falter President Obama is most likely to have the best opportunity to raise campaign money because the character of his constituency.
